Happy Birthday! Here is a leafy sea-lady!
When I set about drawing you something for your birthday, my go-to thing to draw was a dragon (because no one can tell me I am drawing them wrong if they don’t exist). Then I realized it looked like a leafy sea-dragon. From there it seemed only natural to replace the dragon bits with lady bits, and viola!
I think this is probably my favourite thing that I have ever… drawn? What’s it called when you use an online photoshop program (pixlr.com) and your mouse? Either way, I never knew I could make something that looked this good. I found the whole process really inspiring and artistically renewing. So thanks, Megan, for setting me to this task!
Also? There seriously has to be a better way to draw hair than drawing each strand individually with a single pixel brush at a low opacity.

I drew this during the end of Yu-Me, but it is too big for my scanner and so has just been sitting around. Yu-Me (and your work since then!) has been pretty influential on my artistic development, so…uh, thanks!
