I think this is a more doable art style. I kept thinking I couldn’t use watercolor because I already used it a lot, but I was forgetting that watercolor can be done in more than one way, and I really like this, and it didn’t take terribly long.
I was feeling sassy today so I did a quick 30 minute self portrait. A rare glimpse of me without my glasses. This would have taken less time but I started doing it in ArtRage 4 only to have it crash so I redid it in AR3. Also, finally fixed the color calibration issues on my Cintiq. Only took me 3 years. Ugh.
Doodling, trying to figure out an art style for a comic I want to do. First one is ArtRage watercolors, third one is Photoshop flat colors, and the middle one is a split between the two. I feel like the watercolors look kinda muddy, and the third looks a bit too cartooney. The middle one is just right, and also the most work. Of course nothing good is ever easy. Well, I’m gonna keep working on it. I haven’t even written the thing yet.
A page of noses. My favorite body part. I spent over two hours just drawing noses last night and it made me so happy. So much variety, and I’ve barely scratched the surface.
Also, did you know there is a tumblr called nasophilia that is just pictures of awesome noses? I love this thing.
Tooooooo muuuuuuch coffeeeeeeee.
I think I can walk through walls.
I don’t even like coffee.
It’s going to be an interesting day.
Burlesquestuck - The Girls
I accidentally made a sexy Kanaya outfit (really, it was completely by accident!) and then I thought of how easy it’d be to make burlesque costumes themed to all the Homestucks. And then all of these happened.
I’d put on a Homestuck themed burlesque, except I can’t think of anywhere to perform it where the audience would understand what I was doing.
