Hey, you keep mentioning The Legend of Bold Riley. As far as I can tell it has to do with lesbians and fairy tale-esque stories, both of which intrigue me, but I'm having trouble finding more detailed information, particularly about the newly released book. Would you mind giving a more detailed review of it?
Bold Riley is about a princess in the fictional country of Prakalore with a serious case of wanderlust. She leaves her family and sets off on adventures. The book is a series of short tales of her various tribulations, told kind of like fables. It’s one of those few stories where I like the romance in it (it’s not because she’s a lesbian, but because Leia writes interesting, compelling relationships) and I like that Bold Riley is an adventurous princess girl without the story tearing down all the other girls who don’t want to follow her path. It has a lot of unique characters in unique situations. It isn’t the same ol’ same ol’.
And I would fight a mecha-shark if it would get me a second volume by tomorrow.
