So I entered CMU’s student juried art show at literally the very last minute because my pieces were pretty much good to go anyway, and it was only 5 bucks to enter. I had no real intentions of getting one of them in, just figured I might as well for “experience” or whatever.
THEY BOTH GOT IN!
I’m pretty stoked about this. It was the very confidence boost I needed. I’m taking no studio art classes this semester (I’m taking 3 art history classes instead) and I was beginning to wonder if I should just become an art historian. I guess this just goes to show I might actually be able to do something with my fine arts degree after all, even if whatever it is I do might seem insignificant to some.
They are stunning, especially the headdress! Not surprised you got in. Not at all.
