I’d always been sad that these clothes never looked as good on me as they do on the mannequins, until one day I caught a glimpse of a mannequin from behind. There were pins and clips and doodads cinching the clothes, giving them shapes that the clothes don’t naturally have, and unless you also cinch them as you wear them, they’ll never look like that no matter what your body type.
And then I thought, man, do tailors even exist anymore?
