I think this is what the ladies of Lesbian Pirates From Outer Space will be wearing in the next issue. I love 1950’s fashion. It’s so beautiful. I looked through a lot of reference photos and vintage catalogs to figure out what they’d wear. And personalities of the characters are important. What clothes would they pick out if they went to the store, rather than what clothes I...
It’s still really difficult to wrap my brain around it. I feel like I need to say something, but I don’t really know what to say. Especially because I already “ended” YU+ME 4 months ago. And I said some words then. But this is the end-end. There is nothing more.* I’m trying to imagine what my life would be like had I not spent the past 8 yeas planning and drawing...

One comic ends, another begins
YU+ME ends today. I’m still in a sort of state of shock about it. I’ll post some actual coherent thoughts about it later this week. Right now, I can’t think too much about it or I’ll burn up from the inside. I’m also having a free raffle, giving away the original art for a watercolor poster I made. All the Best Things Go Buzz
I drew this yesterday. I really, really wish someone would get this tattooed on them. I really hope somebody sees this and says “You know what? That’s something I need on my body for the rest of time.” And I hope that somebody sends me pictures. Because that would fill me with glee. Also, I put it on a t-shirt. I don’t know where I am going to wear it, but I am getting...
why is lesbian pirates taking so long?
Because writing actually does take a long time. It’s not just about the time it physically takes to move my fingers on the keyboard to type it out. Ideas take time. Plotting takes time. Double-checking stuff to make sure I’m not writing myself into a corner takes time. I could toss out the first stuff that comes to my mind, but it’s not going to be very good. I need to let it...
You should read this comic. I think it’ll fill a YU+ME-shaped hole you’re all going to have in your lives soon.
